The Armed Forces Medical Services (AFMS) has issued a Notification for the recruitment of Military Doctors under Short Service Commission (SSC). Indian citizens, both male and female, who have passed the final MBBS examination in no more than two attempts and have appeared for NEET PG Entrance Examination.with an MBBS qualification are eligible to apply online.
The online registration for AFMS Medical Officer 2025-26 starts from 13th September and closes on 3rd October 2025.
Age Limit
Maximum 30 years for those with MBBS or PG Diploma (as on 31/12/2025).
Maximum 35 years for those with PG Degree (as on 31/12/2025).
Salary
Rank of Captain (or equivalent in Navy/Air Force) at Level 10B of Defence Pay Matrix.
Basic Pay ` 61,300/- + Military Service Pay ` 15,500/- + House Rent Allowance (depending on city class X/Y/Z) + Non-Practicing Allowance....
