1. National Overseas Scholarship (NOS) – Best for SC, ST, OBC and EWS Students
The National Overseas Scholarship (NOS) is a prestigious scheme implememted by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment that supports students from Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Other Backward Classes (OBC), and Economically Weaker Sections (EWS). It aims to help students pursue Master’s and Ph.D. programs abroad in top-ranked universities.
Eligibility Criteria
• For SC, ST, OBC, EWS candidates.
• Must have at least 60 per cent marks in their previous degree.
• Age limit: Below 35 years at the time of application.
• Annual family income limit: Less than INR 8 lakh per annum.
• Should have secured admission in top-ranked universities abroad.
